Europe 2015 Terry White

I got the opportunity to visit and work in Europe during the 1st week of June. It was a great opportunity to show photographers the latest advancements in Adobe Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC.

Presenting at Fotofair in the Netherlands

My first stop was the Netherlands for Fotofair. Fotofair is the largest photographic show in the Netherlands drawing about 7,000 people over the two days, Saturday and Sunday.

Although the weather was clear most of the time, this outdoor event was hampered by cooler temperatures and periodic rain.
getting setup for my presentation
I took the train from the Breda station in the Netherlands to Paris.

I learned quickly that these trains run on time and if you're late you're going to miss it. I was on time! This was a great relaxing ride.

Once I got to Paris Sunday evening I started to plan my day of shooting for Monday. Since my Paris event wasn't until Tuesday, this gave me some time to capture some familar sites.

Before shooting photos with my Nikon D810, I stopped for a moment to capture some colors around me using Adobe Color CC on iPhone and Apple Watch.
It was also great to capture some vector shapes with Adobe Shape CC on iPhone.

After shooting the famous landmarks of the city it was time to head over to the Louvre. Although I've been to Paris twice before it was my first time visiting this incredible museum.

It was my first time seeing the Mona Lisa in person. It's smaller than you think, but clearly it draws the biggest crowd.
Next to the Louvre museum is the underground mall, Carrousel du Louvre. The beautiful two story Apple Store is there and I was pretty happy to see that Apple Pay was accepted in the food court.
My photography event took place at the Adobe Paris office. It was a great crowd of photographers and fun to demo Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC to. #TerryWhiteParis
On to Milan

Although I had been to the Netherlands and France multiple times, this was my first trip to Italy. Milan is a beautiful city and once again I went out the night before my event to capture some images to use for my presentation the next morning.

The Milan Cathedral is a must see if you ever get to Milan.
City of Milan

I did a few LIVE broadcasts via Periscope including from the top of the Milan Cathedral. Beautiful weather for the breathtaking views.

Another great crowd of photographers learning about Adobe Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC. It was also great meeting with the press before the event including Wired Italy.
EXPO Milano 2015

The next day I went to check out EXPO Milano 2015. I didn't know what to expect from this massive show and it's even a little hard to describe. Think of just about every country you can imagine with a huge (in some cases multiple story) building in one spot. When you visit a particular country's exhibit you can sample their food, culture and of course buy gifts.

This long corridor felt like it was at least 2 miles long with exibits on both sides. Live performances and great food.

It was a great trip and I'm glad to have gotten the experience. Thank you all who attended my seminars. Until next time, Vaarwel, Au Revoir and Arrivederci!
