THE WALKING FAMILY TREE
“Children are the anchors of the mother’s life. -SOPHOCLES
God’s creation is beautiful, especially when he created the special bond between mother and a child decorated with unconditional love, and selflessness. He created a masterpiece! , and was bedazzled himself to execute his imagination into this magic called ‘Biological Relationship.’
We all have heard a phrase “You are in me and I am in you” and I am sure each one of us feels the same for our babies. The mother and child’s relation is not only about the connection formed by the umbilical cord that supplies blood, nutrients and antibodies to a child. It is a connection for life, not genetically, but scientifically too..
Science has proven that
Immediately after the birth of a child, he/she leaves foetal cells in the mother's body which helps build her defence system against the diseases.
Collagen cells released after the C-section delivery / Normal delivery help mothers to heal- “Celebrate the feeling of being complete, appreciate your child’s contribution.”
Another scientific reason behind mothers love for a child is that they both carry each other cells throughout their life. These cells flow with the blood and repairs the damage tissues. -So the next time you get hurt be thankful to your babies for the repairing.
Foetal cells can even migrate to the mother's brain and can morph into neurons. -At times when you get mischievous, blame it your babies! Lol!
Michrochimerism----Protect against diseases. These cells are not expelled or rejected by the body, but they migrate across the placenta via blood and bind and become one with cells and tissues. -It reminds me of a song “Mera tujhse he Pehle ka naata Koi….”
Amy Body a geneticist describes these baby cells in the manner of stem cells use chemical cells from neighbouring cells once they have proffer themselves in moms tissue to mock and grow into the same kind of tissue - “Jigar ka tukda!”
… And I promise you this; No matter who enters your life, I will love you more than any one of them… no one will ever love my children the way I do or as much, love you both more than my soul can hold”-Melanie Pena
