Brandon Marshall, the newest offensive weapon for the Giants? By: Stephan Schnitker

The Giants already have one of the best offenses in the league. Will Brandon Marshall make them a super team?

Brandon Marshall did have a down year in 2016 but who would blame him? Jamey Eisenberg who has been a Senior Fantasy Writer for CBS Sports since 2006 wrote “Don’t look at his 2016 stats and use that as a measuring stick heading into this year with a new team. The Jets ran through three quarterbacks in Ryan Fitzpatrick, Bryce Petty and Geno Smith, who were awful, and Marshall also struggled with additional attention from defenses with Eric Decker (shoulder) out.”

The year before, when Brandon Marshall just got traded from the Bears to the Jets he played insane. He had a quarterback who was accurate and efficient leading him to 109 catches, 1502 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Jamey Eisenberg also mentioned about how this season will not be like Marshall's last season when he wrote “That won’t be the case with the Giants, who still have a solid quarterback in Eli Manning, even if he might be slipping at 36. And defenses definitely can’t make an effort to just stop Marshall with Beckham and Shepard on the field.” This shows even more how he will be perfect for NY because he now has a two time Superbowl winning quarterback named Eli Manning.

Not to mention Odell Beckham Jr, a wide receiver who won offensive rookie of the year.

Brandon Marshall can also mentor younger teammates and help them take the next step to becoming one of the best receivers in the league.
