Tiger Tales Carmel elementary school newsletter

end of year winter fun

The last week of school before break was packed with fun, from All School Bingo and Paw Pride drawings to Winter Class Parties and staff holiday luncheons. MANY thanks to our parent volunteers for their time helping with the parties and to our families who donated so many fantastic bingo prizes for students and staff.

ANNOUNCEMENTS AND REMINDERS

Dine to Donate: Noble Roman's on Wednesday!

Take a night off from cooking and support CE at Noble Roman's Pizza Pub this coming Wednesday January 16 from 5-8 pm. They're located at 1438 W Main St.

From the Box Top Committee:

Please help the BTC raise money for the Teachers via Box Tops. Currently, the children are engaged in a fierce Box Top competition. The class with the most Box Tops per student will win extra recess. Extra recess to a kid is the same as uninterrupted quiet time to a parent, so you know the kids want to win.

Please collect box tops and submit them with your child's name, and more importantly, your child's teacher's name. If you have any Box Top questions, please text Fred BruBaker at (317) 331-4940.

Good News Club

Good News Club is an exciting, fun-filled time once a week for 6 weeks. It includes dynamic Bible Lessons, games, meaningful Songs, and life-changing scripture memory

Your child will learn:

  • Respect for Authority
  • Moral Values
  • Character Qualities
  • Biblical Principles

The club will meet at Carmel Elementary on Mondays: February 4, 11, 25, March 4, 11, & 18th. The club meets right after school until 4:00PM

Specially trained volunteers concerned for the well-being of your child teach the club. All club workers are screened by a national background check to ensure your child’s safety. The club leaders are Rachel Nix (mother of CE students) and Diane Braun (retired CE school nurse).

For more information you can contact Rachel Nix at gnrn2001@gmail.com or Diane Braun at mdiane.braun@gmail.com. You can also visit http://www.cefcentralindiana.com/
