A Note from the Principal...
We made it! What a great feeling to know that we made it this far into the school. We hope that we are able to continue as 2nd semester approaches. There are not enough words to express my thankfulness, to our students, staff, and families for being so patient and understanding this first semester. May you all have a very Merry Christmas and enjoy your time with your families.
This is a reminder that if your child is not feeling well, please keep them at home. Please do your part to help keep everyone safe. Also, if your child or someone in your household gets tested and is waiting results, please keep them home until you have the results. Please contact the school with any questions.
Cold Weather Approaching
The cooler weather is here! We try to get the kids outside as much as we can to get fresh air. Please make sure that they wear the appropriate clothing for this. Also, please make sure they have winter coats gloves, and hats. If anyone is need of any of these items, please contact your child's teacher or the elementary office and we can get you one.
Report Cards/ Middle of Year Assessments
The second term ends today. Report cards will be sent home on Friday, January, 8, 2020. Along with report cards, we will be sending home Middle of Year Assessment Reports. The fourth grade students will also receive the IREAD score report that they took this past fall.
LES Power Hour (FREE TUTORING)
Our tutoring service has started. Tutoring is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays of each week, as long as we have teachers to supervise. We have 20 spots available each day. To give all students an opportunity to receive this service, you must call into the office beginning on Monday of each week to sign up. Tutoring is after until 4:00 PM. Call the elementary office with any questions.
