STRONG Student Leadership Team

Is your student interested in developing and growing their leadership skills and positively impacting their community? If so, encourage them to be part of the STRONG Student Leadership team. Our goal will be centered around developing our leadership skills and impacting the Larson community. I hope you consider joining Mr. Tull and other students for their next meeting Tuesday, February 9th at 2:45pm. We will meeting virtually at the following link:

Come and hear about the details of the team and how you can play a vital role in leading. Thanks for your consideration and if you have any questions contact Mr. Tull!

Larson Science Olympiad

Congratulations to the Larson Science Olympiad team on their many achievements thus far this season! The team secured Top Placements at the following invitational tournaments:

Northview - 10th Place out of 57 Teams

Cobra - 3rd Place out of 39 Teams

Harvard/Brown- 16th out of 88 Teams

We have done very well this year against teams from across Oakland County, Michigan and the Country. The team is excited to be competing at the U of M and Regional events at the end of the month. Stay tuned for more success!

7th & 8th Grade Girls Volleyball Cancelled

The Troy School District (TSD) has decided to officially cancel the middle school girls’ volleyball season. While this may not be a surprise, we realize this is disappointing for all of our student-athletes, their families, and coaches. We are hoping to be able to run track & field this coming spring as it is an outdoor sport, and we are hopeful to have more of a normal school year with typical sports seasons next year. If you have any further questions, please contact Tim Fulcher, Director of Athletics, directly at 248.823.5153 or tfulcher@troy.k12.mi.us.

Daily Health Check Reminder -- IMPORTANT

All in-seat students must complete a daily health assessment prior to getting on the bus or arriving at school. This is a critical step in keeping everyone safe. Please plan to complete the assessment for each of your students in the PowerSchool parent portal every day by 8:00 am. Instructions below.

Parents, it’s essential that you keep your student home if you answer “Yes” to any of the questions. When in doubt, keep your student at home. We are counting on you to partner with us to protect the health and safety of our students and staff. Repeated failure to comply with the daily health assessments may result in your student returning to all-virtual learning.

Return to Learn Family Guidebook

For those students returning to LMS for in-seat instruction, please review the Return To Learn Family Guidebook at the link below. Please read it carefully and ask questions if you have them.
