Jesus commissioned and established the church by getting apostles to follow him and spread his message. Without him getting apostles to follow him, there would be no religion created because no one would believe in Jesus if he was trying to spread God’s word as one person with no supporters.

St. Peter was the first pope who was ordained by Jesus in Matthew 16:17-18 where he said "rock or my church"

St. Paul was one of the leaders of the first generation of Christians. Galatians 1:16 Moreover, Paul thought that the purpose of his revelation was his own appointment to preach among the Gentiles.

St. John was the writer of the Bible. According to the Doctrine and Covenants 27:12 St. John, Apostle and Evangelist's feast day is celebrated on December 27.

The role/mission of the Catholic Church is to unite all people under Christ and to spread his word. Also it is to evangelize and proclaim the gospel and eternal salvation for everyone.

“The New Evangelization calls each of us to deepen our faith, believe in the Gospel message and go forth to proclaim the Gospel. The focus of the New Evangelization calls all Catholics to be evangelized and then go forth to evangelize. In a special way, the New Evangelization is focused on re-proposing the Gospel to those who have experienced a crisis of faith.” The New Evangelization began for Catholics to renew their relationship with Jesus.

The New Evangelization is similar to the evangelization of the Early Church in their mission: to improve ones relationship with Jesus. They are different in their methods though. The early church spread its word through Jesus and his apostles to try and get people to follow Jesus.

The New Evangelization is relevant to our campaign because it is trying to get more people to have a better faith like how our campaign is using an app to promote people to attend mass weekly and improve their relationship with Jesus.

Our motto/slogan is one faith. One family. One dream
