You see, before you start cooking, you need some materials. You will need a grill. They come in many styles, so pick one that you like. You also will need a spatula, an implement with a broad, flat, blunt blade, used for mixing and spreading things. These are to flip the hamburger or hot dog. Oh and speaking of hamburger, you need some meat or hot dogs so you have something to cook. Lastly, you will need an apron, a protective or decorative garment worn over the front of one's clothes and tied at the back, as to not get dirty while cooking. Those are the materials that you will need for grilling.
Next, you will have to get started! First, you need to get the propane, a flammable hydrocarbon gas of the alkaline series, present in natural gas and used as bottled fuel, and hook it up to the grill with the little tube. Next, put the heat on high. Then, push and hold the igniter, a substance used to ignite or kindle a fire, hold the button until you hear the flame. Lastly, turn the heat down to about half way. This is how to turn the grill on.
You need to make the hamburgers (If you are making hamburgers. First, take the Hamburger and break it apart. Next, form the meat in a circle, about 1 inch thick. Make as many as you want. Finally, put the meat on a plate and bring it over to the grill. That is how to make the meat in the hamburger shape.

Now, it is cooking time! Do these next steps quickly or you could get seriously hurt. Put the meat or hot dogs on the grill and close the lid. Let it sit for about 10 minutes. After about 10 minutes, open the lid and flip the hamburgers/hot dogs. Then, let the meat sit for another 10 minutes. After the 10 minutes, bring out a new plate and open the top of the grill. Check if the meat is cooked. To do this, you see if it is black or not. If it is black, it is burnt, and you don't want to eat that. If it is not black, then take a knife and cut a small slit in the meat. If it is red, then it is undercooked, cook (something) insufficiently. If it is the same color as the outside, then you are good! After you checked, bring the meat inside, get some buns and enjoy! That is how to cook the meat.

First, you take a grill scraper, a tool used to clean the grill rack of grease leftover burnt meat, and scrape all the leftover meat and grease.
