Urban Exploration Andy MarTinez

As I took a stroll down the heart of Downtown St.Petersburg, I noticed art. Not just regular art, urban art. The kind that comes from the imaginatIon of an urban warrior. Expressing their true form, and in many ways, their most creative. It is in these sparks of imagination run wild within the concrete jungle that we see and feel the stroke, the spray, the painting come alive.

I call this one "Transcend"

There are many "Walls of Art" as I call them, and I admire the incredible contrast and color used to finish these great pieces. It's amazing what you can do with just a mind and a heart for art. Especially the incredible size and scope of some that were unbelievably breathtaking. I was in awe the rest of the way.

The great "Walls of Art"

I took my friend with me as he was also interested in the art. Truly spectacular experience.

Out of all the art and pictures I took, there was one that truly captivated me, it was interesting yet haunting. An abandoned public garage that was soon to be demolished. Me and my friend managed to get to the top floor, but the scene was something out of a post-apocalyptic movie.

Avoid above photo caption and go view my photography portfolio for more pictures. Thanks!
