The Holy Spirit By: Jose Garcia

Holy Spirit guides and influences de church

The Holy Spirit sent by the Father through the Son continued to dwell in the Church inspiring and empowering her to undertake mission in accordance with the command and mandate of Jesus, (Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations) (Mt. 28:19).

Peter and the other apostles under the direct influence of the Holy Spirit were able to preach, convert and work miracles (Acts 3: 1 10;5:12). In the community of believers the Holy Spirit guided them infidelity to the apostles' teaching, communal life, prayer and in the breaking of bread (Acts 2:42)

How The Holy Spirit works in the church

- In the Scriptures he inspired.

- On the Tradition, to which the Church Fathers are always timely witnesses.

- In prayer, wherein he intercedes for us.

The Holy Spirit continues the work of Jesus and his ministry

Our lord was guaranteeing that He would rise from the dead. His dying on the cross would not be the end of His existence. But beyond that, He promised, "I will come to you." Indeed He sought out His disciples after the resurrection, but the context implies He was speaking of something more: His spiritual presence in every believer through the agency of the Holy Spirit. (Colossians 1:27)( 1 John 4:12).

In our times too, the Holy Spirit continues to work in the lives of the faithful and in the community of believers. This is evident in the continued existence of the Church and the continued growth and spread of the Good News throughout the world. (Rm, 21).

This honestly all relates to me because ever since I was little, my grandma will always talk to me about the Holy Spirit and what it is and what it does. So I've had knowledge ever since because grandma. I think that the Holy Spirit will be always be there in the church and will always continue Jesus and his ministry
