CASING

This protects the parts inside of the camera and holds all pieces in place, and prevents light from contacting the film before shutters open, when picture is taken.

Shutter

Part of the camera that seal box that doesn't allow any light into it so it won't expose the light to the film, it opens and closes between the lense.

Lens

Redirect beam of light bouncing off the object so that they come together and make an image

Film

It preserves the image of what camera sees on film. When the shutter open light is reflected off the surface of subject strike the emulsion.

Flash

Short flash of bright light so that the film is exposed

Gas Discharge Tube

Filled with xenon gas it has electrodes on each end and meet at the trigger plate in the middle of the tube.
