The PLC Implementing Teacher Professional Learning communities

Professional learning communities are groups of people who share and critically examine their practice.

The major goal of learning communities for teachers is professional development, i.e., to develop knowledge, skills, and expertise, and to enhance teaching effectiveness.

Research provides evidence that this goal is often achieved.
