CASAS Updates April 2017

Season of Change

The first week of April! Construction is almost finished on the new CASAS relocation plan, moving schedules are in place, and there is just over one month left in the spring semester. In fact, if all goes as planned, our Green Hall offices will be fully moved around May 1st! At the same time, we are actively planning for adjustments and new initiatives to assist with student success. This is an exciting time and one of continual change! Poet Dorothy Parker wrote, “They sicken of the calm who know the storm.” Think about that! :)

With all of the LU happenings, we need to be careful to not forget another significant event this month, Easter. Fortunately, we have one constant in our lives, God’s love! To think of the sacrifice made to save us of our sins and offer us eternal life is almost incomprehensible through our logic paths. We truly serve an awesome God and one that we can continue to trust in for his perfect timing and care in our lives!

Thank you again for your continued flexibility and your focus on serving our students and one another. Continue to let God’s love show through you through the seasons of change!

Luke 24:6-8

“He is not here; He has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ” Then they remembered his words.”

CASAS Night at the Ballpark

Join us Friday, April 14th, for the CASAS Night at the Ballpark! Our Liberty Flames will be facing Winthrop at 6pm at the Liberty Baseball Stadium.
