Russia came up with the little Nesting Dolls, It's hard to find a symbol of Russia more popular than the traditional Russian nesting doll. It often was and is used by Westerners, originated in British caricatures and later also used in the US, and not always in a flattering context – on occasion it was used to imply that Russia is "big, brutal and clumsy"
I put this in because it shows the churches of Russia. Russia is mostly made up of the Orthodox Christian denomination. Islam is only followed by 5% of the population. Catholicism, Judaism and Buddhism are professed by 1% of the population each.
