A Taste For InnovationQuality design services delivered in jan 2017
In Jan, the product design team continues to deliver quality & just-in-time UX services to folks from the lab community, including 30+ user interviews, 1 formal usability lab session, 3 journey mapping workshops, and several rounds of UI design iterations/ideations.
In the Discovery & Synthesis area, we discussed simplification of Velocity menu to better evangelize the Biotech pipeline workflows
In the Molecular Analysis area, we started to map out end to end process for GWS Chip workflow, after completion of 30+ screening interviews. We have also partnered with MBT local IT and facilitated two journey mapping sessions for their marker discovery process.
In the Lab Management area, we have completed a usability study for Global Supply Chain (GSC) PlateView QC app. We have also partnered with Chemistry/Regulatory strategy and facilitated several rounds of Task Analysis Workshops around ELN (electronic lab notebook) user behavior.
Usability Study - PlateView App
1st iteration of the GWS Chip Process
Yeah, we love to talk to users !
ELN Task Analysis Workshop
Of course, we couldn't accomplish all those alone, we would like to thank
Mike Calivillo for helping out in the marker discovery journey mapping workshop
Rachel Krieb, Brad Morgenthaler and Kuldip Singh for providing us the opportunity to pilot usability research in GQA lab
Amy Johnson, Sean Rogerson and Christine Layton for providing SME knowledge around corn DH and soy SSD
Feb will be another busy and rewarding month for our team. We will start to envision user experience for Velocity IP, develop E2E process around genome editing, investigate lab to field connection points for Ag Trait customers, complete GWS chip journey mapping workshop, and kick off 'Innovation Program' for the lab community. We look forward to continue working with you and transform the way we do science.
