UCI Student Health Center is focused on keeping the campus healthy.

Fall Quarter

Booked more than 93,100 appointments for on-site COVID-19 sample collections

Administered more than 51,600 COVID-19 tests to students.

Conducted 8,450 primary care telehealth visits and more than 2,600 mental health telehealth visits

Anteater Pledge Ambassadors team up and take action

With team names like Masketeers, Quaranteam! and Sherlock Stay-at-Homes, 147 students and 35 staff/faculty members make up the 16 teams of Anteater Ambassadors who engage and educate the campus community on how to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

The Ambassadors engaged in 2,679 activities during fall quarter and utilized social media to promote healthy behaviors and share information peer to peer. #AnteaterPledge

UCI Counseling Center Video Series

'Mental Fitness Monday' and 'Feel Good Friday' fall quarter videos offered an array of tips from mindful movement and walking to pet companionship, origami and growing a garden. Catch the ongoing series on the Counseling Center's YouTube channel.

Cross-Cultural Center weekly newsletter hits a high note

Filled with events, opportunities to connect and eye-catching graphics, the Cross-Cultural Center's weekly newsletter reaches more than 2,500 subscribers every Monday.

The week-long Community Roots Festival (formerly known as Rainbow Festival) in November celebrated UCI's diverse communities with cultural performances, a virtual community resource fair, student organization fundraising opportunities and a mural contest.

💛💙💛💙 for Student Affairs essential workers

With heartfelt expressions of gratitude and appreciation, essential workers from Student Health Center, Housing, Student Center & Event Services, Child Care Services and FRESH Basic Needs Hub were recognized by Vice Chancellor Banks for their resilience and commitment. They received fresh-baked cookies and were featured in the Student Affairs holiday video!

UCI Dining serves more than the essentials

  • 141,901 meals served to students during fall quarter
  • 35 themed meals in student residence dining halls
  • 50 cookie decorating kits delivered to students in isolation and quarantine

UCI Campus ID receives Best Card Design Award

Auxiliary Services in partnership with SAIT and OVCSA Marketing & Communications embarked on updating the design and functionality of the campus photo ID card. The card now includes mental health and sexual assault resources along with enhanced swipe features. The new design won Best Card Design for 2020 from the National Association of Campus Cards Users (NACCU).
