Term 1b, week 4 What a week!

This week, some of us found ourselves at home, self-isolating. We have continued to learn, accessing live lessons via Teams and completing our work on Seesaw.

Year 5 have adapted to this way of working extremely well with all of the children at home joining in with the lessons. The ones remaining in school have adapted well too. We have all taken part in our reading sessions, maths lessons, English lessons and afternoon sessions as normal.

They have made me one very proud class teacher!

Lacey was inspired by the work we are doing about Buddhism so she continued her learning at home. She shared this with us- well done Lacey.

Sienna was in Golden Book for a factsheet which she produced, at home, about coronavirus. As she is accessing school via Teams, it meant she could be awarded her certificate as part of our assembly. Well done Sienna.

Oliver has had a fab first term in Year 5. He is enthusiastic about his learning and always tried his very best in anything he undertakes. For this reason, he was awarded Year 5’s Start of the Week, this week. Keep up the hard work Oliver!
