Return Roadmap Campus Re-opening | 2020 Living Document

Thoughts On Campus Re-Opening

We are extremely thankful for each one of you as participants in the mission God has called us to. The stories we hear and evidence of so many choosing to see God’s hand in these circumstances is a great encouragement. We recognize this may not answer every question, but it is intended to provide an overall direction as we seek to return as soon as possible, safely! The intent of any protocols that we embrace are in keeping with government guidance and out of a love for each of you, our neighbors and our community. Your grace and patience are appreciated as we navigate this situation. We are ready to return and add ministry gatherings as they become available by LA County updated orders. Two areas that will continue to shape our return plan are:

Guidance For Those “At Risk”

We ask all who may have increased vulnerability to consider participating via the Online Service rather than gathering in person. For additional information on those who would be considered "At Risk" please view the CDC Risk Factors.

Status of In-Person Services

Step 1

June 28, 2020 | 9AM & 10:45AM | The Amphitheater

As of June 15th based on the LA County Revised Health Order, we are able to gather for a larger service in the amphitheater. In accordance with the social distancing requirement we will be making 500 tickets available on line. Out of a desire to allow as many people as possible to participate, please only download the tickets you will use. If you are not able to get tickets online, please call the church office at 661-296-8737.

Additional Service Details

We are also watching the weather and may move future services earlier to avoid the heat of the day. Plan on bringing chairs or a beach towel as seating will only be provided for seniors or those with physical limitations.

Campus Reopening Plan For Ministries

Currently we are not resuming any ministries on Sunday mornings. Grace Kids, Students and Adult classes are meeting remotely and will resume once we are able to increase our capacity, safely and in alignment with LA County protocols.
