ARTIST
TONY ALMONTE - Montreal based artist, producer & entrepreneur, born in Hull Canada. He is a multi-instrumentalist, well versed in a variety of arts-media related disciplines, and known as "a man of many hats". Although Tony has been playing musical instruments since birth, he stands today as a seasoned percussionist, performing the likes of legends like Sly & The Family Stone, The Doobie Brothers, Wyclef Jean, as well as The Jacksons.

ALMONTE coordinated countless events, while actively supporting academic graduates from local Universities and Institutions, like McGill University and Recording Arts Canada. Scouting young talent, musicians & engineers, connecting them further in the field. His current position as artistic director for Montreal Cancer Institute's - Casino against Cancer, is source of great pride. Notable mention Tony also consults for a plethora of brands, venues, festivals, and non-profit ventures.
MUSIC & DJ
TONY's contribution to Canada's music scene is unquantifiable. Supporting and seizing each opportunity, he's held DJ residencies at institutions like Mercury Lounge, ATOMIC & CBC / Radio-Canada, while appearing on numerous tracks spanning nearly 2 decades. His recent participations include reworking Boule Noire's classic "Aimer d'Amour". After years of honing his craft playing with Roy Davis jr, Lil'Louie Vega, Jojo Flores, Tortured Soul & Bran Van 3000, his very own material is now ready to be unveiled on his new label Vesica Records.

Aimer d'Amour - A timeless French down-tempo disco by the late Boule Noire. This rework was co-produced by Yann Simhon & Tony Almonte tending to musical direction, as well as playing all supporting instruments. A modern twist on a 70's classic, reignited by Sibo Leblanc also featuring the sultry voice of miss Meryem Saci.
