Lexington and Concord Battle April 19 1775

The battle of concord proved to the British that the American army was not just a band of unorganized rebels but an army that deserved respect.

Lexington started the battle of Lexington and concord.

The British hastily were retreating.

The red coats could have been finished off but their commander ordered them not to.

The first shot was fired in Lexington

Paul revere went around from town to town to let the Americans know the British are coming .

The British choose to march to concord.

This battle started off the revolutionary way that lasted from 1775- 1783.

The Americans won this battle.
