The Syrian Civil War is an armed conflict in Syria fought between the government of President Bashar al-Assad, along with its allies, and multiple forces fighting the government. in Syria, part of a 2011 Arab Spring protests, grew out of control with the Assad government and escalated to an armed conflict after protests calling for his removal. The war is being fought by several forces: the Syrian government and its allies, a loose alliance of Sunni Arab rebel groups, the Free Syrian Army the majority-Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Salafi jihadist groups (including al-Nusra Front) and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
The Free Syrian Army (FSA) had seized control of the area surrounding Aleppo and parts of southern Syria. some forces of the Syrian opposition split from their original positions to chase an Islamist sight for Syria, some Turkmen groups remained in the war as well
International organizations have blamed the Syrian government, ISIL and rebel groups of severe human rights violations and of many massacres. The conflict has caused a major refugee moments across many countries. A number of peace initiatives have been launched, for example the March 2017 Geneva peace talks on Syria led by the United Nations, however the fighting continues
The United States has worked with Russia in order to stop al-queda (a terrorist group) but the fighting still continues. In conclusion I believe that this conflict can find peace if more peace acts come into play, however I do not believe it will work if nobody tries and everyone keeps fighting.
