In Algebra 2, the class did a project over the force of earthquakes. They did a presentation showing the calculations behind it. The project also involved a model with marshmallow and toothpick structures that had to withstand the shaking of Jello.
Each team was supposed to come together to make the most steady structure to withstand the Jello. In this picture, Sophomore Jordan Hedge and Tori Tuell work together on creating the perfect design.
Within the teams, Sophomore Ben Tapp and Tuell come up with different designs.
After the structures were completed, algebra 2 teacher Adam Stroud tested them by shaking the Jello.
In the end, Tuell's team had the steadiest design.
