Artsitic Collage

This art piece depicts a dreamy world in the sky full of castles and whales. It was inspired by a picture of a child sitting on a cloud. Also, I thought a whale jumping through the clouds would be pretty cool as well. This art piece was intended represent heaven above the clouds. I used pinks and pictures of fluffy clouds to make the picture appear dreamy. I also used a stamp to make footprints in the clouds that the child I left in black and white to follow to the castle.

Artistic Collage

This art piece is a picture of Audrey Hepburn, which is constructed from multiple different black and white patterns. It was inspired by other artistic collages that used magazine clippings and other patterns to portray famous people. The meaning of this art piece is that people are art; even people like Aubrey Hepburn are made of several different patterns or things that makes them unique. I used the stairs image over her eye and fit it to match her eye socket. I also used swirling black and white patterns along her hairline to define and draw interest to features of her face.

Artistic Collage

For this project, I didn't have a clear goal or image in my head of something I wanted to produce. My inspiration for this art piece would be through google other artistic collages and liking other people's artwork that had handwriting in it. The meaning of art piece is to not be tied down and to reach great heights. It's why I placed a picture of the forest down at the bottom of the letter and a picture of a person's outline through the moon in the top right corner.

CD Project

This specific art piece is the Brothers by the Black Keys album, which I redesigned to look similar to an alphabet block. My inspiration was the word brothers because I instantly thought of alphabet blocks and toys. The meaning of this art piece is youthfulness and childhood. It's why I used certain fonts, numbers, and shapes that looked similar to those printed on alphabet blocks because certain toys like alphabet blocks are associated with childhood. I also used a wood grain texture it make the entire album appear like it was actually made from an alphabet block.

Website

This art piece that I designed for a surf shop, which I designed to be user friendly and easy to navigate. My inspiration for this piece was other surf shop sites that I looked at; many were very simple and easy to get from page to page. The purpose of this website was to be friendly and inviting, but also eye catching. I used wood planks in the background to imitate an actual surf shop and used several guides to keep everything in my website aligned and easy to look at. Also, I used really cool images of surfers to make the website appeal more to its viewers, who would roughly be around 14 to 30 years old. And because I wanted to draw more attention to the content on my website I used large, colorful pictures and bold lettering to catch someone's eye.
