We are super proud of the Texas Xtreme ’02 Boys. Playing three games in a day is a very hard task to accomplish. The quality of soccer had demolished game to game because of fatigue and injuries but the work ethic and fight was still present.

Texas Xtreme '03 White

The Texas Xtreme '03 White is battling for a Bye spot for next season. Plagued with Sickness and other commitments along with unlucky results the team finds themselves in a must win situation for the next 3 games. Spring Break vacations and league play on both of the spring break weekends will make it a tough task to finish the season strong. We know they can do it as this team has proven to be mentally strong and very tough to play against.

Goal recap from this weekend game.

Texas Xtreme '03 Blue

The Texas Xtreme '03 Blue have improved both Technically and Tactically during the year , but still are trying to learn how to finish the games as a team. This is a wonderful group of young men and they are still figuring out how to play together consistently each weekend. Keep working hard and the results will start to show on the field.

'04 Boys Earn Bye

Wait

The Texas Xtreme '04 Boys want more than just a Bye into the league. Yes this team is battling for second place which would see them to move up into division two next year. There are two games to play in league play and we are currently in second place.

'00 Boys

The '00 Boys are beginning to prepare for the spring season. High School soccer is almost over for most teams in the area and Club soccer will be just starting up for all leagues. This team had a wonderful Fall season and we look forward to see them in action after spring break.

Stretching

Studies have shown that athletes under age 14 really only need a dynamic warmup and light stretching to prepare for a match or training session. As these young athletes begin to mature , grow and hit puberty a more intense warmup should be introduced. In soccer training, a warmup should include the ball if possible or an intense SAQ warmup.

Match Warmup

Warmups for a match should include more stretching than a training session and provide full mobility of all muscles.

Home Stretching

It's a great habit for athletes to understand that stretching 20 mins before bed time will help with mobility, sleep and relaxation of muscle fibers and tendons. It would be a great practice to stretch before bedtime and when you wake up in the morning.
