We believe that 2016 holds a promising year for us all! We thank the LORD for what was once a dream has now come into fruition. Our greatest desire to make an impact into this world has brought us all together into this wonderful partnership: Victory Iligan, Every Nation Campus Iligan, and the ZFT; of which we hope and pray would last longer than we ever dare think.

Iligan City East High School, a former typhoon Sendong casualty in late 2011, was chosen to be the recipient of our said scholarship program. Having met all the requirements, we were able to select 13 students as our first batch of beneficiaries.

So in June 2015 our program director, Ptr Jovir Arcay of Victory - Iligan with the Every Nation Campus Iligan team went out to meet and orient the parents and the scholars regarding our program. This was also the time when they received their school supplies and allowances.

With the start of the calendar shifting among college schools, Every Nation Campus Iligan invited the scholars over for a team-building at Ozzy Mago beach resort last August 2015. Every Nation Campus is a global organization that is passionate in reaching out students in the campuses, helping them be prepared in life by coaching them in the areas of Leadership (L), Integrity (I), Faith (F) and Excellence (E). Hence, LIFE. This team-building promoted an avenue of camaraderie and trust among the facilitators and the students.

More than the financial assistance that we could extend to the beneficiaries or the scholars, Every Nation Campus seeks to produce a generation of nation-builders and world-changers, it makes its vision work through life-changing avenues we call LIFE Groups where they primarily get impartation and mentoring on the core areas mentioned above. We have single and college volunteers who make time to visit and meet them at least twice in a month. We believe that as we affect a life, we impact a generation on which that student can influence on. Eventually, we will transform this nation and the world as we produce leaders who will not just be intellectuals but with good morals.

Being overseers, we thought that we knew them enough until these scholars and the parents were invited over by Victory Iligan one Sunday in September 2015, during its nationwide campaign called, “Every Nation In Action (ENAct),” where it had the privilege to cast its vision to the congregation of who it is as a movement and why it does what it does. As a Christian organization, it believes that poverty is not just simply having a lack of resources but it’s a spiritual condition or mindset that must be broken. These students and their parents were given the chance to speak about themselves and their dreams, moving the hearts of the hearers who were then compelled to help bring change into their lives. We believe that through this event, the scholars were empowered to look past and go beyond their present situation.

The year 2015 ended warmly. In its desire to bless certain people or institutions for Christmas, “Project Blessing” was initiated by Victory - Iligan last December 2015 of which our scholars also benefited. Overwhelming thanks were felt by them as they received the gift packs in preparation for their Noche Buena.

Another school year started last June and we did the same thing: re-orientation of both the scholars and the parents, team building activity, personal mentoring and LIFE coaching done through small groups. We desire to strengthen this area to ensure we are aligned in our vision.
