  • General Thomas Gage sent Redcoats to imprison leaders of the rebellion
  • Paul Revere rode, on horseback, warning "The British are coming!"
  • Both Americans and British were wounded and killed in the battle.
  • American military was outnumbered and retreated from the British
  • Ignited the Battle of Concord
