KINDERGARTEN HEALTHY EATING CELEBRATION

Haque Academy's Healthy Eating Celebration brought together almost 200 families of our Kindergarten section to celebrate healthy eating in collaboration with Karachi Farmer’s Market. Children took part in many fun activities that promoted healthy food choices. Fresh, locally produced, organically grown and naturally processed food items were introduced to help make positive changes in our lives. The event was centered on seeking a balance between healthy eating, healthy lifestyles and a sustainable environment.

COMPUTER SCIENCE EDUCATION WEEK

Haque Academy kicked-off the global Computer Science Education Week by having its students participate in various Hour of Code activities to expose them to computer science, particularly coding. The Hour of Code is a gateway toward providing all students with access to high-quality computer science education. This year, more than 375 of our students from grades 2 to 6 did at least one Hour of Code.

SCIENCE FUSE

This year, the Science Fuse workshop brought new and exciting experiments to students of grades 2-4. The two-week STEM-program aimed at fostering critical thinking skills in students and made learning science and mathematics a fun, challenging, and engaging experience. Children played with Sphero to learn about ‘Gravity’ and also learnt about ‘Virtual Reality’ using Google Cardboard.
