Desembarco del Granma National Park A UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE

The site at Cuba is situated on the south eastern of Cuba.It will take at least 8 hours to get to Cuba from Houston,and you have to drive to the south east so it will take 3 more hours and walk to the Desembarco del Granma National Park which will take you 10-15 minutes.This park was the first national park of Cuba that’s why it is the most treasured park for the cuban people.This park was discovered around 1956

If Desembarco del Granma National Park was neglected the waterfalls would be covered in vines,branches and grass or bushes
Take a plane to Cabo,ride a car to the capital and walk to the park
Desembarco del Granma National Park became the first national park in Cuba’s conservation history Originally covering a smaller area, it was later extended to encompass what is today the World Heritage property.For as long as the strong conservation status remains in place the most significant threats to the site including inhabitants and staff , may well be natural disasters , such as hurricanes and sea floods.
