Whitley's ATL Bday Weekend #urbanoasistravel

Hi Ladies,

I know you are counting down until your fun trip to Atlanta starts! I thought I'd highlight some of the cool things that will be at your fingertips once you arrive.

Friday, 3/3rd you will arrive at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead. The hotel is conveniently located on Peachtree Street and puts you in the heart of Atlanta's best shopping, dining, sports and live music. Check in is at 3:00 pm. The address is 3300 Peachtree Road NE Atlanta, Georgia 30305.

As you may know, this hotel is walking distance to upscale shopping at Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza malls, and the Shops at Buckhead Atlanta. Kandi Burruss' store Tags is also in that area. There's a courtesy driver on staff that can take you ladies to any restaurants within a 2 mile radius for free. Restaurants like Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and Maggiano's Italian Restaurant are in the area too.

  • If you're craving soul food
Mary Mac's Tea Room is located in Midtown and has been serving up some of the best soul food in Atlanta for a long time! (some say it's waaay better than Glady's Knight's joint.) The lines get long on the weekend so if you go, get there early.
Paschal's is another really good soul food restaurant and is located in the Castleberry Hills Arts District. It is affordable but still has an upscale vibe to it.
Negril Village is a Jamaican restaurant located in Midtown. There is usually a brunch happening there too. Parking can be a beast so if you go, you may want to hop in an Uber and call ahead.

Atlantic station is an outdoor shopping center that has shopping, food, festivals, and a pretty diverse group of customers. There's a parking fee here too so be on the lookout.

SkyView Atlanta gives you a one-of-a-kind, thrilling look at Atlanta from atop a 200-foot-tall Ferris wheel. SkyView's luxurious, climate-controlled gondolas circle high above Centennial Olympic Park. If you go, don't miss the night-time light show!
The Atl-Cruzers Electic Car Tour is a cool way to check out Atlanta while snapping pics. Let me know if you want to add this to your package and I can.
Atlanta is known for soulfood and *clears throat* Strip Clubs. So, if you decide to live like the Romans you may as well do it at one of the livest places there. Of course this is one of many like Follies, Blaze, & Magic City.

If you ladies have any questions, I'm just a phone call away. Have a safe and fun trip!!!!!!!! Crystal
