Hi, my name is Chad Kennedy, and I live at a Group home. I would like to introduce myself to you. I am 17 years of age, and I used to hangout with my friends at "The Pit" The Pit was built on a hill that sloped down toward the harbor.
I had to go to court because I threw a rock off a bridge and it hit a car and injured someone really badly. In court I was sentenced 12 months to volunteer at a Rehab Center, 2 days during the week and every other Saturday. The public demanded that I was to be put into jail. The judge thinks she can change my life by making me volunteer at a Rehab Center. So far I think it's working, for the past few months my life has changed a lot. I met the girl that I injured in the Rehab Center. Her name is Leeza. When I threw the rock off the bridge it was Leeza that I injured in the accident.
I'm here to do a presentation. I am going to talk about what I did that was so wrong. It has changed my life so much. You should have more compassion for life, and think about the consequences of your actions before you do it.
I am very grateful that I was given a second chance to change my life, the judge was extremely reasonable about me doing volunteer hours at a Rehab Center. The lesson that I learned was to make better choices and try to help others make better choices.
