A legendary pioneer of expedition kayaking in Asia, National Geographic considers Gerry to be the “most experienced river guide in the Himalayas”.
A decades-long professional behind-the-camera and award-winning documentary filmmaker, Gerry has led film crews to the summit of Everest from both North and South Cols, in addition to productions in South America, Africa, India, Alaska, British Columbia, Scotland, Greenland, Nepal, and Bhutan. His experience and adventures have been featured in numerous films, television and print channels with Atlantic Productions, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Outdoor TV, the Travel Channel, Men’s Journal, Red Bull Media, and Outside.
Gerry is a Fellow of The Explorer's Club and served as Nepal’s first International Goodwill Ambassador for Adventure Travel & Tourism.
