Mavs SPIKED!

The 2nd Annual Sand Volleyball Tournament and Beach Party was Saturday, July 30th at The Sports Garden in Coppell, TX. Over 1,000 people attended the event. Mavs SPIKED was an evening full of glow in the dark beach volleyball, live music and of course Bud Lights!

Bud Light was included on all marketing of the event which included, email blasts, social media posts, print ads in the Dallas Morning News,

Bud Light received:

  • Logo placement on official event Step and Repeat
  • Logo on tournament bracket
  • PA announcements during event
  • Branding at two(2) bars

MFFL Tipoff Party

Bud Light challenged the Mavs to create awareness for the new Bud Light Mavs Team Can. The Mavs created an unique event “movie premier” type event called the MFFL Tipoff Party presented by Bud Light. The event turned the focus on the fans and the cans. Fans were invited to walk the Blue Carpet like a MFFL VIP, when they did so, they received an exclusive limited edition Mavs koozie. Additionally,$1 hot dogs and $4 Bud Light Mavs Team Cans were available for purchase.

The Blue Carpet ended at a large 8 foot replica Bud Light Mavs Team Can. Fans got to take pictures with the can along side Mavs Dancers and Mavs Legend, Rolando Blackman.

The party concluded with a cheers to the new season and the new Bud Light can with Mavs GM and President of Basketball Operations, Donnie Nelson and in-game MC Ali De.
