Thank you for choosing Kenya's Keys and entrusting us with your unique talents! Our wonderful staff is eager to put you on the path to Pursue Your Passion. In order to ensure that you receive the most effective and supportive learning experience as a student or family supporter, we have established the following Policies, Expectations, and Procedures (P.E.P.).
Treble Makers (students) receive 34 lessons PLUS performance opportunities (at no additional cost to you) from September 2018 through May 2019.
Tuition includes breaks and holidays, eliminating the need for make up lessons. For example, we always break for the last week of December and the first week of January.
If we miss your lesson, you'll be credited a portion of tuition. If you miss your lesson, we'll see you at your next one.
Summer Flex Lessons run June-August 2019 and provide the perfect opportunity for unique music offerings like Bucket Drumming, Composer Camp, and Song Writing Workshops.
Treble Makers can participate in workshops, camps, or purchase flexible lesson packages as an alternative to regular weekly lessons like those given September-May.
Due to the unique delivery of Summer Flex Lessons, make ups are unavailable.
Priority scheduling for next Fall is offered to Treble Makers who participate in Summer Flex Lessons.
Your registration fee covers books and teaching tools used during your lesson. The first set of lesson books are included! Lost lesson books? We'll provide you info for replacement purchase.
The annual registration fee is assessed when you first enroll and again the following September.
The current registration fee is $30 for one Treble Maker and $50 for a family of Treble Makers.
Tuition is the same amount every month from September-May and is due on the 1st of the month. Tuition is prorated for initial lessons that begin in the middle of a month.
Edit your profile information in TeacherZone to enter your payment information. All payments are made via a secure auto draft.
A $10 late fee is assessed on the 10th of the month. Lessons are provided for paid accounts only.
Tuition rates will increase every September in order for us to continue to provide the most up to date and informed creative experience for Treble Makers.
If you need an alternative payment date or plan, just ask! Simply send an email to Kenya@KenyasKeys.com.
We believe music is for everyone and actively work with The MusicLink Foundation to meet community needs.
We occasionally take pictures and record video of Treble Makers in action.
Pictures and video of Treble Makers are responsibly used to highlight music magic in the moment on our website and across social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
You can opt out at any time by sending an email to Kenya@KenyasKeys.com.
Not well enough to come to your lesson? We'll FaceTime or Skype it out during your lesson time where possible.
Have a fever or vomiting within 24 hours of your lesson? Get well, and we'll see you at your next lesson.
Help us fight the cootie monster by washing your hands or using hand sanitizer when you arrive.
To help keep our staff and other Treble Makers cootie free, we reserve the right to end your lesson if we feel you're too ill to participate.
Need to pause or end lessons? Kindly inform us at least 30 days in advance of your anticipated change. Send an email to Kenya@KenyasKeys.com. We'll then send you a short digital form to complete.
Have a Flex Pass? Lessons must begin within 30 days of purchase. Any unused Flex Pass lessons expire after 60 days. All tuition is non-refundable.
Treble Makers with paid in full accounts who wish to pause or end lessons are welcome to continue lessons through the end of the month or by the terms their Flex Pass.
There are no fees for terminating lessons, however any tuition owed must be paid.
We welcome you to what we hope will be an experience that lasts for a lifetime. The gift of music is truly the gift that keeps on giving.
