Thank you for choosing Kenya's Keys and entrusting us with your unique talents! Our wonderful staff is eager to put you on the path to Pursue Your Passion. In order to ensure that you receive the most effective and supportive learning experience as a student or family supporter, we have established the following Policies, Expectations, and Procedures (P.E.P.).
Treble Makers (students) receive regular weekly lessons PLUS performance opportunities (at no additional cost to you) all year round.
All lesson books are included! Lost lesson books? We'll provide you info for replacement purchase.
Tuition includes breaks, holidays, and the occasional missed lesson eliminating the need for make ups or rescheduling.
So, if a lesson is missed for any reason (i.e. illness, travel), we'll just see you at the next one.
Lessons are year round and continue throughout the summer from June-August. These lessons may be given at different times/days from those given September-May.
Priority scheduling for next Fall is provided to Treble Makers who participate in any preceding Summer Lessons offering such as weekly lessons, camps, flex lessons, and workshops.
Opting out of Summer Lessons? Just pay the annual Enrollment Fee by June to receive priority scheduling for the upcoming Fall.
Tuition for regular weekly lessons is paid monthly via secure auto draft on the 1st of each month. The first month's tuition is prorated for lessons that begin in the middle of a month. Current tuition rates can be found here.
Tuition rates may increase every September in order for us to continue to provide the most up to date and informed creative experience for Treble Makers.
We believe music is for everyone and actively work with The MusicLink Foundation to meet community needs.
A $10 Late Fee is assessed on the 10th of the month. Lessons are provided for paid accounts only. If you need an alternative payment date or plan, just ask! Simply send an email to Kenya@KenyasKeys.com.
Your Enrollment Fee covers books and teaching tools used during your lesson. This annual Enrollment Fee is assessed when you first enroll and again the following September.
The current Enrollment Fee is $30 for one Treble Maker and $50 for a family of Treble Makers.
We occasionally take pictures and record video of Treble Makers in action.
Pictures and video of students are responsibly used to highlight music magic as it happens and may be used for marketing and advertising purposes on our website and across social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
You can opt out at any time by sending an email to Kenya@KenyasKeys.com.
Not well enough to come to your lesson? We'll FaceTime or Skype it out during your lesson time where possible.
Have a fever or vomiting within 24 hours of your lesson? Get well, and we'll see you at your next lesson.
Help us fight the cootie monster by washing your hands or using hand sanitizer when you arrive.
To help keep our staff and other Treble Makers cootie free, we reserve the right to end your lesson if we feel you're too ill to participate.
Ending lessons? Kindly inform us at least 30 days in advance of your anticipated change. Send an email to Kenya@KenyasKeys.com. We'll then send you a short digital form to complete.
Have a Flex Pass? Lessons must begin within 30 days of purchase. Any unused Flex Pass lessons expire after 60 days. All tuition is non-refundable. Tuition may be converted to another offering.
Treble Makers with paid in full accounts who wish to end lessons are welcome to continue lessons through the end of the month or by the terms their Flex Pass.
There are no fees for terminating lessons, however any tuition owed must be paid and will accrue a Penalty Fee of $50/mo until scheduled lessons have been paid in full.
We welcome you to what we hope will be an experience that lasts for a lifetime. The gift of music is truly the gift that keeps on giving.
