Flexible work arrangements: With a high level of trust, we encourage our team to work flexibly in order to support a work/life balance.

Opportunity to Grow:

Learn to lead: Through our “At the Helm” and “Anchoring Leadership” programs, we offer new and current leaders the support needed to build their capability and progress their careers.

Train it up: We offer team members access to software and professional development training courses.

Education Assistance: Carnival Australia offers team members financial study support for courses related to their current role, or planned career path.

Get Charitable: We partner with Save the Children and Westmead Children's Hospital through our Carnival Cares program. There are regular opportunities for our team members to get involved in supporting these great charity organisations.

Reward for Success:

Recognition Program - Globe Awards: There's nothing we like better than to see one of our team members think big, stand tall and win! We recognise outstanding team member performance throughout the year, with quarterly and annual awards including paid time off, helicopter rides and celebratory lunches!

Referral Program: We have great people working for us, so we value their opinion on who else should join Carnival Australia. Team members who successfully refer a candidate can enjoy a referral bonus as a thank you.

Competitive and Fair Pay: Carnival Australia undertakes regular external market benchmarking of salary levels to ensure pay is fair and competitive. Pay decisions are made based on merit, and take into account team member performance, behaviour and experience.

Annual Incentive Scheme: Team members in management or senior technical roles participate in Carnival Australia's Annual Incentive Scheme (AIS). The AIS provides a share in the financial success of Carnival Australia, and recognises individual team member performance.

Sales Incentives: Team members in sales roles are provided with market competitive, sales incentive payments that recognise achievement of financial objectives and the right outcomes for our guests and partner organisations.

Positive Culture:

Diversity: Carnival Australia is proud to have a strong track record of promoting diversity in the workplace. We are committed to maintaining a workplace in which everyone feels like they belong. We are always looking for new ways we can do even better, and recently established work groups to focus on four areas:

Gender equality

People with disability

Indigenous Australians

LGBTI community

Staff Engagement: When we want to find out what we can do better, we go straight to the source: our staff. We have in place a quarterly and annual employee engagement survey which helps us understand what we can do to make Carnival Australia an even better place to work. As a result of the survey, action plans are immediately developed and tracked to ensure any ideas or issues raised by our team members are addressed (and not just filed away).

Reward and Recognition:

Reward and recognition are a big part of who we are. We have a company-wide program in place that encourages employees to recognise the achievements of their colleagues. Rewards include gift cards, bonus annual leave, once in a lifetime experiences and much more.

Career Development:

We are strong advocates for maximising our employees' potential. We believe in career progression and have sound initiatives in place to achieve this, including training and development courses, internal recruitment opportunities, and participating in the annual Careers Week.

A Fantastic Place to Work:

Imagine spending your work day in a vibrant, open office with plenty of natural light. Conveniently located in the heart of North Sydney, our modern offices are brilliantly designed to maximise your enjoyment at work. And the open plan layout helps to promote teamwork and transparent leadership.
