What is the Gastronome?

The Gastronome is a unique, state of the art dining facility. It provides the CSUF community with a great opportunity to not only eat healthy, nutritious, and well balanced meals, but it also serves as the hub of activity, and a place to bring the community together.

The Gastronome Mission:

To serve a nutritious meal to all CSUF students and anyone traveling through the campus, no matter what allergies or food issues they may have.

The Food Plan options:

Include single visits, on the go orders, Weekly, Monthly, and Block plans with various prices.

Daily changing entree station 1
Station 1 entree for the current day
Daily changing entree station 2: fried chicken and waffles
Salad bar station
Grill and sandwhich station
Pizza station
Desserts and drink bar
One of 3 dinning areas and dish drop off station

Sustainability:

Aramark oversees the acquisition of all food sources. Ensuring high quality and provides a rigorous process to approve all vendor sources. Gastronome limits food waste by serving small portions and estimates its food orders to prevent overstock.
