Dear Husky Parents and Guardians,

In Harmony’s continued effort to build stronger relationships between our campus and your family, we encourage you to take advantage of our Home Visit program. Harmony’s home visit program is nearly as old as the school system itself, beginning in 2000, just one year after the first campus opened its doors. If you volunteer for this service, your student’s teacher will come by your home on a Saturday OR an evening of your choosing to provide you with educational resources and answer any questions.

Harmony’s teachers and staff have seen home visits improve the communication between families and their campus. Students realize their parents and teachers are working together for their benefit, often resulting in improved classroom behavior and academic success.

Harmony teachers visit more than 7,000 homes each year, and we want to make sure your student receives this helpful tool.

We would like to introduce to you the new COUNSELING team! We have three (3) faculty now on our team! We are: Michael Teegarden (Lead Counselor; contact him at mteegarden@harmonytx.org), Mr. Emrah Akay (College and Career Success Coordinator; Alumni Coordinator; and Counselor; contact him at eakay@harmonytx.org), and Mr. Metin Budak (Activities/Engagement Coordinator and Counselor; contact him at mbudak@harmonytx.org). Mr. Akay is in office #121; Mr. Budak and Mr. Teegarden are in office #105.
Pinterest Arts and Crafts Club will be meeting on Thursday in room 201 from 3:30 to 5:00. Always be CREATIVITY!!! See you there.
Parents, please note we will begin serving alternate meals to all students who have a lunch balance of -$10.00 or more. We have been sending weekly reminders to all who this applies to. Please pay your student's lunch balance to ensure their meal service is not interrupted.
You can submit a lunch application for your student at any time. Please go to our website https://hsacarrollton.harmonytx.org/ Click on Parent, Child Nutrition, School Cafe twice. Our district is Harmony PS Waco. You will create an account and Apply for Benefits. It is a simple process and only takes about 10 minutes!

.

Make sure to sign up for Voly to register as a parent volunteer.
6th-12th Grades Students should claim the account following steps shown at the below resources section. They will set up their own password and security questions to recover it. There is an exception for Students with disabilities. Their teacher can print QR code for them, following steps described in the section Printing QR codes below.
Students must follow the HPS Uniform Policy found in our HPS Student/Parent Handbook. Some quick notes are: shirts must be tucked in, no boots are allowed, belts are required, and we do not wear hooded items in the building at any time. Please help us by checking your student's attire each day.
