Civil War The battle of gettysburg and William t. sherman

The battle of Gettysburg was a long and bloody battle. The battle lasted about three days. The battle took place in July 1863. After three days of battling the union won the battle. the union suffered about 23,055 casualties.
William T. Sherman supported the Union side of the war. He was the leader of the march that ripped through the Souths forces. William T. Sherman died of old age on February 14 1891, NY city. Sherman was a brave man and fought hard for the union.
