Railroad The development of RAILROADS was one of the most important phenomena of the Industrial Revolution.

The railroad was a huge upgrade for transportation in the US in the mid 1800s. It helped drastically to transport soldiers, goods, and supplies. It also helped travel across the US from 6 months down to 6 days.
