What are we learning?

Math: We will continue using place value to compare and order numbers.

Reading: We will focus on several ways to respond to literary text.

Phonics: down, white, under, green, came, jumped, jumping, played, playing, mixed, mixing, pushed, pushing, packed, packing, picked, picking

Social Studies: We will continue learning about different winter holidays and family traditions.

Science: We will continue learning about reduce, reuse and recycle.

Important News

  • Spirit Week is 12/12-12/16 (check calendar below for specifics)
  • Our winter party will be Friday December 16th from 9:30-10:30. A food and volunteer sign up sheet went home last week. I am also looking for volunteers to attend the party and help celebrate the students hard work this semester. If you are planning to take your child home early on Friday we ask that you wait until after 10am.
  • Our first annual Glow Jam will be this Friday during specials. Glow Jam is a glow in the dark holiday party. Students are able to buy glow stick bracelets before school in the cafeteria Monday-Thursday. Bracelets are only 0.25 cents and they will be wearing the bracelets during the Glow Jam.
