Join the BrushWork Society for an extraordinary journey from dynamic Milan to Venice, the Queen of the Adriatic. We will spend two days in Milan, the style and fashion capital of Italy, including a viewing of Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece The Last Supper. These two cities bookend an exceptional exploration of Northern Italy that rewards the curious traveler with amazing experiences in Verona, Padua, Bologna, and Ferrara. With a special emphasis in art history, you will see works of the masters including da Vinci, Titian, Michelangelo, Raphael, Caravaggio, and others.
After leaving Milan, we will go overland to Venice and embark on an unforgettable seven-night cruise and tour of towns along the Po River and various islands in the Venice Lagoon. Marvel at classic medieval monuments, breathtaking Renaissance cities, timeless works of art, and the mesmerizing land and waterscapes of Northern Italy. You will be led by knowledgeable local guides while enjoying all the creature comforts available on our riverboat.
Painters, bring your workshop gear! Premier artist Bill Davidson, our sought-after instructor, will offer demos and invaluable mentoring sessions during the voyage. BrushWork Co-Founder Mary Ferguson will lead the tour.
