LAURIZE ALBARRACIN MINISTRY UPDATE EN Campus Davao - January 2017

January 2017 Prayer & Fasting

As we start each year, our church celebrates a 5-day prayer and fasting to consecrate ourselves, families, and ministries to God; thank Him for His faithfulness, mercy, and grace; and believe God for victories and breakthroughs in every area of our lives for the year. This year, the fast was not just nationwide, but global, along with Every Nation churches all over the world. It was a faith-filled time to write down our faith goals with the students and student leaders, pray with them and believe for greater things that God has planned for their campus this 2017. For EN Campus Davao, it's our faith goal to raise more leaders and to saturate the major campuses in the city with passionate student leaders. Another faith goal is to start doing 121 and victory groups at Davao Medical School Foundation (DMSF). It is a medical school in Davao that is mostly attended by Indian students. It's our desire that this year we will be able to reach out to more international students so that we will prepare them to make an impact as they go back to their own nation.

Teachers Vision Casting & Dinner

Reaching out to the campuses doesn't just mean reaching out to the students only. We believe and we desire to disciple the students, teachers and the administration staff of the schools. This year we are strengthening our partnership with the teachers who are attending our services. We met them for dinner to cast the vision and to remind them of the great opportunity they have to be in the campus, influencing and molding the minds of the next generation every single day. We're praying for more teachers to be discipled who would, in turn, become intentional in preaching the gospel to their students.

2017 Campus Directors Training

One of the trainings I look forward to every year from Every Nation Campus is the annual Campus Directors' Training that happens every January. It is a training for campus directors all over the Philippines that aims to equip us to serve and be more fruitful in leading our teams and campus ministries back in our local centers . We were reminded of the 4 Essential Habits of a Campus Director which are guarding our calling, building with our senior pastor, leading our team and preaching the Word. It was 3 days filled with reminders, encouragements and a challenge to grow in every way to serve God and the church more.

This is a picture of the men and women leading our campus ministry in Mindanao. It's an encouragement to hear what God is doing in the different campuses in different areas in Mindanao. As a team, we are also planning and preparing for a regional hub convergence that will happen this June 1,2 & 3. The goal is to plant in the hearts of students to be fearless in living out their lives for Jesus and preaching the gospel to their campuses.
One of my highlights during the campus directors' training is the mentoring session with the women leaders from the EN Campus national office. I'm blessed to be part of a team who values mentoring not just in ministry but also in life. I was able to get so much from the mentoring and I'm excitedly sharing it to the student leaders in Davao.

Fort Bonifacio High School God Test

After the Campus Directors Training, we went through the God test training. As our application, we went to Fort Bonifacio High School to do the God test inside the campus. The junior high school students in that campus were very open to the gospel and they received Jesus as their Lord and savior. A lot of them had family issues that I was able to minister to because of my testimony and the work that God has done in my family. After talking and praying with the students, we connected them to EN Campus Fort and invited them to join the youth service the night that same day.

Thank you so much for you generous and consistent financial support. Your partnership is never in vain as you partner with us and God in advancing His kingdom. Great things are indeed happening as we are faithful and diligent in reaching out the next generation for Jesus! :)

Do you happen to know anyone that has the same passion as us , to reach the next generation?
