Rivers-The Mississippi river which is the second longest river in North America.-The Pee Dee River. The Pee Dee River provides abundant habitat for fish, mussels, birds and other wildlife. As of 2016 the Pee Dee river is a endangered river. Located North Carolina.

Mountains- The Appalachian Mountains which borders Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama and Georgia. The Appalachians first formed roughly 480 million years ago during the Ordovician Period.-The Great Smoky mountains are a mountain range rising along the Tennessee-North Carolina border in the Southeastern U.S.

Plains-The Coastal Plains extends northwards of the Gulf Mexico along the lower Mississippi river, to the Ohio river. One of the world's largest coastal plains is located in eastern South America.

Everglades in the Southeast are mostly located in Florida. The everglades is a natural region of a tropical wetlands in the Southern portion of the U.S state of Florida, comprising the Southern half of a large Drai.

Florida (Sunshine State) is a huge peninsula. A peninsula is a body of land sticking out into the water, and is covered by water on three sides of the land.

Swamps are an area of low-lying, uncultivated ground where water collects; a bog or marsh. Most swamps Have a lot of alligators. A couple of months ago there was a alligator attack at Florida.

Marshes are an area of low-lying land that is flooded in wet seasons or at high tide, and typically remains waterlogged at all times. Most marshes in the Southeast are mostly located in Florida Mississippi.

Lake Okeechobee, is a lake located in Florida. Lake Okeechobee is the largest freshwater lake in Florida and the second longest freshwater lake.
