Cal Men's Basketball: Pearl Harbor Invitational December 6-7, 2016

The Bears escaped the cold Californian weather and headed off to Honolulu, Hawaii for the Pearl Harbor Invitational, honoring the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. The Golden Bears split the tournament, beating Princeton 62-51, and losing to Seton Hall 60-57.

The Bird made his triumphant return to the floor, leading the Bears against Princeton with 13 points and 8 rebounds.

Singer dominated the floor, scoring 11 points and grabbing 7 rebounds.

The freshman standout had another movie-worthy performance, with 15 points and 3 rebounds.

Before/ between games, the Bears got to explore Pearl Harbor and its surrounding scenery to appreciate the servicemen/women they would be playing for during the tournament.

On Pearl Harbor Day, the Bears played Seton Hall Pirates, and in a valiant effort, loss their second game of the season by a mere 3 points.

The Bird's the word-- 22 points and 9 rebounds in just his second appearance back from injury.
The Bears come home from Hawaii and play the Aggies of UC Davis on Saturday, December 9 at 7:30 pm.
