Life among faith by;Regina cueva

Hello everyone , I just want to share with you a new project.I had the opportunity to work with Thai airlines , and American airlines .Therefor you guys can conclude that my new project has to do with traveling . I was able to travel to Thailand,Israel , India , and Mecca.

Day One-

I've just arrived in Thailand and i'm beyond amazed so far .I've spend about an hour in car and still have 10 more minutes to get to one of the most visited temple. In hopes to learn more about Buddhism... so far I know that the holy text is Tripitaka ,Buddhist monk, which is the preacher, is called Bhikkhu, and lastly one of the holidays they celebrate is Buddha's birthday .

Day 2-

Yesterday , I learned that a monk can't sit near a female nor talk. Inside the temples I saw a lot of gold statues, lots of small details embedded into the doors and walls .What surprised me the most is that they are very good preserved.

Day 3

Sri rangathaswamy Temple

Today in the the morning I went on a 4 hr plane ride to india , after learning about Buddhism, Hinduism should be even more interesting since buddhism came from hinduism .My first stop was in the sri ranganathaswamy temple, I was in aw when I saw this because every little wall is full of so much detail.Hinduism has 4 Paths To Liberation . The first path to liberation is knowledge , devotion ,good deeds , and lastly meditation.

Day 4 - By far the most surprising thing I saw in India was how many gods the have.In theory there is about 33 million gods in the hinduism community. They believe one god created the universe and then created more gods forever every element.Sadly this is my last day in India and I leave tonight to Mecca .

Day 5- Mecca, in a desert valley in western Saudi Arabia, is Islam’s holiest city, as it’s the birthplace of the Prophet Muhammad and the faith itself. It was honestly a huge honor to be in Mecca since it's not open to tourism , since it's a very holy city only muslims can enter .The muslims have a very strict dress code , Women have to wear burkas and if they don't they get punished.

Day 6-Lastly what I went to see in Mecca was Jabal an-Nour otherwise know as the mountain of light .The Islamic prophet Muhammad is said to have spent a great deal of time in the cave meditating and it is believed that he had received his first revelation from the archangel Gabriel. Tonight I fly to Israel !

Day 7 - Now israel is by far one of the most important cities I went to, the reason being is that its is important to Jews, Christians and Muslims. Judaism, the oldest religion of the three great monotheistic faiths. The basic laws and tenets of Judaism are derived from the Torah, the first five books of the Bible. Catholic came from Judaism , however they believe jesus was sent to the world to spread the word about God .Jesus was crucified however , later was risen from the died. However the religion of Islam began when the prophet Muhammad received revelations from God and wrote them down in a book that would come to be called the Qur'an.The Qur'an is like the Bible .

Had a blast learning about all this religions and hopefully it helped you understand more too.
