Memphis 70, UConn 61 Dedric Lawson recorded his 12th double-double in the win

Markel Crawford scored 19 points, hitting 9-of-12 shots from the field.

He narrowly missed a double-double with eight rebounds, while adding two assists and two steals.

Over his last two games he is 18-of-25 from the field, 72 percent shooting.

Dedric Lawson scored 15 points and pulled down 11 rebounds for his 12th double-double of the year.

His double-double total has him second in the country this season in the category.

He also added a team-high six assists and three steals in the Tiger win.

Jimario Rivers scored a career-high 16 points, hitting 7-of-9 shots from the field.

K.J. Lawson scored nine points, hitting three field goals, a three-pointer, and two free throws.

He also dished out four assists, pulled down three rebounds, and grabbed a steal.

Jeremiah Martin scored three points, but also dished out five assists and grabbed two rebounds.

Memphis' defense forced 11 steals and 15 total turnovers in the game.

The Tigers return to action at FedExForum on Saturday, January 14 with a 5 p.m. game against USF.
