Emory Law Centennial Weekend April 27-30, 2017

All alumni were invited to celebrate with Emory Law to commemorate its Centennial year. Weekend festivities included reunion celebrations for the following classes: 1966, 1967, 1971, 1972, 1976, 1977, 1981, 1982, 1986, 1987, 1991, 1992, 1996, 1997, 2001, 2002, 2006, 2007, 2011, and 2012.

2017 Alumni Awards were awarded Thursday, April 27, 2017 honoring Kareem Maddison 03L, Young Alumni Award; Patti H. Bass 83L, Eléonore Raoul Trailblazer Award; Randy L. New 76C 82L, Alumni Service Award; and John Latham 79L, Distinguished Alumni Award
A Corpus Cordis Aureum Medallion Ceremony, honoring 50-year graduates was held for the classes of 1966 and 1967, as well as classes preceding 1966.

Reunion parties were held on Friday, April 28 at the St Regis Atlanta. Celebrating the classes of 1966, 1967, 1971, 1972, 1976, 1977, 1981, 1982, 1986, 1987, 1991, 1992, 1996, 1997, 2001, 2002, 2006, 2007, 2011, and 2012.

Emory Law Centennial Gala - April 29, 2017 at the George W. Woodruff PE Center

It was the gala of a century celebrating Emory Law’s rich legacy and promising future. Emory Law alumni, faculty, staff, and students gathered in the transformed gymnasium of the Woodruff PE Center to honor Senator Sam A. Nunn Jr. 61L 62L with the Centennial Lifetime Achievement Award and hear a keynote address from President Bill Clinton, Founder of the Clinton Foundation and 42nd President of the United States.
