Vincent Van Gogh Victor jin jiang

This was Van Gogh's signature, he created this signature, when he painted his first creation which was going to be selt.

Vincent Van Gogh was born the 30th of March of 1853, and die the 29th of July of 1890.

He was a Dutch Post-Impressionist painter who is one of the most famous and influential figure in the history of painting.

In over a decade he created more or less 2100 artworks, including around 860 oil painting, most of them were created in the last two years of his life in France, where he died. He painted landscapes, still life's, portraits and self-portraits, and the paintings are characterised by its bold colours and dramatic, impulsive and expressive brushwork that contributed to the foundations of moder art. He suicided at the age of 37 years old, the suicide was caused by mental illness and poverty.

Vincent Van Gogh was born in an upper-middle-class family, Van Gogh started painting as a child. As a child he started to work as a painter, but then he became depressed after being transferred to London. He turned to another religion and became a while a Protestan in southern Belgium. After taking up painting, in 1881, he moved back to his home with his parents. His younger brother, which was called Theo supported him economically, after some years, in 1886 he moved to Paris, in which he met some members of the avant-garde, after this, he began to paint olive trees, cypresses, wheat fields and sunflowers.

This is an example of a painting that Van Gogh painted while he was on France, it is a weat field which is now exposed in the Van Gogh's museum on Amsterdam.

This is another example that Van Gogh painted, while he was in France, it was painted one year before painting, now it is also in the Van Gogh's museum in Amsterdam.

Van Gogh was suffering from psychotic delusions, and worried about his mental stability, he did not eat properly and drank heavily, his friendship with one of his best friends, Gauguin ended after a confrontation. He spent time in psychiatric hospitals, because of all the problems had, then he moved to Ravoux in Auvers-sur-Oise near Paris, then he got under the care of the doctor Paul Gachet. His big depression continued on and on the 27th of July on 1890, Van Gogh shot himself in his chest with a revolver, and finally two days after he died from his injuries.

I think that this painting could be one of the most famous paintings of Vincent Van Gogh, but this is not the case, I think of these because of the mixture of colours that this painting has, the different tones of yellow, the darker and the brighter blues, some of the white painture drawn over the blue sky. Some of the good points of this painting is that it has some objects that are essential in this painting, even though the objects are small, like the little hoz at the bottom of the picture, we can also see that the woman is with the eyes closed and the man has his hat on his head, we can also see at the background a cow.
