They were at times of need due to increasing population growth.

They were in need of more produce, to survive. Because of this the farming revolution started.

Technological Advancement

Coal was created and used for steam engines.

Iron was also used to build building and railroads.

Because of the railroads, transportation became a huge thing! This allowed people to transport materials faster than before, meaning higher produce rates.
Pros/ Cons


  • There were more jobs ( less struggling )
  • Better transportation ( more produce )
  • Faster and more efficient productions
  • Less deaths!!


  • Because of factories, pollution began to expand.
  • Workers had longer hours.
  • Child labor becam a thing, children were used to work.
