Learning through assisting
I was not trained in architectural photography...not formerly. Always eager to learn I began assisting a high-end architectural photographer in Denver. He was shooting 4x5 and that meant making sure it was right before the shutter clicked.
Most important was learning lighting and the trick of forcing perspective by adjusting furniture so it rendered in a normal perspective "on film".
I shoot using a Nikon D800 which produces very large files and the highest quality Nikon glass for sharpness, contrast and resolving power. I use multiple wireless lighting allowing me to place lights in obscure areas for unique lighting.
