JEFF TURNER

Jeff Turner is a graduate of University of Dayton School of Law and has been with Surdyk, Dowd & Turner since 1993. Mr. Turner’s practice includes the defense of collection agencies, debt buyers, collection attorneys, and creditors in consumer litigation. Mr. Turner has defended many FDCPA, FCRA, and TCPA individual and class action lawsuits, and provides counseling to clients with respect to FDCPA, FCRA, and TCPA compliance. He also frequently presents seminars to local, state, and national groups relative to FDCPA, FCRA, and TCPA matters. Jeff also represents political subdivisions in civil rights, police misconduct, and general liability matters.

DAWN FRICK

Dawn Frick is a 1997 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Law and has been with Surdyk, Dowd & Turner since 2002. Mrs. Frick is a trial lawyer and represents clients in both state and federal courts and before the EEOC, OCRC, ODJFS and SERB. In addition, she advises clients on personnel matters and practices involving discipline, Family Medical Leave Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and Title VII. Mrs. Frick works with employers in developing and revising personnel policies and procedures and provides training on various employment matters. Mrs. Frick also has extensive experience advising political subdivisions, including public entities on matters relating to general governance, employment, police practices, public records, civil rights claims and zoning issues.
